In a White House press briefing, press secretary, Sean Spicer, suggested that legalized recreational marijuana would contribute to the nation’s opioid crisis. At this time, research suggests that opioid addiction is directly linked to excessive and improper prescriptions.
Despite the recreational cannabis warning from Sean Spicer on 2/23, the NFL Players’ Association will continue is push to request “less punitive” cannabis policy for players. The association says that this is a collective bargaining agreement issue and not a law enforcement one.
Kush Bottles Inc (OTCMKTS:KSHB) is an interesting play in the cannabis patch. The company has the financials in place to present to the market a compelling story for momentum investors. But shares haven’t responded very well since its massive rip higher from August to October of last year, a period that saw nearly 300% in gains in just about 60 days.
